About DorkForge & FAQ

A free Google dork builder for defenders

DorkForge turns simple form fields into precise advanced-search queries — often called Google dorks. Combine site:, intitle:, inurl:, intext:, filetype:, date and numeric-range operators, load a preset from the Google Hacking Database (GHDB) taxonomy, and run the query on Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo in one tap.

  • Build — compose scoped queries with live syntax highlighting.
  • Presets — directory listings, exposed config & env files, logs, backups, login panels and more.
  • Library — a searchable set of curated, tagged dorks.
  • Saved — local history, favourites, CSV export and shareable links.

What is a Google dork?

A search query that uses advanced operators to surface very specific pages. Security teams use dorks to find files, folders, admin panels and error pages that were indexed by accident.

Is Google dorking legal?

Searching is legal; accessing or exploiting data you aren't authorized to reach is not. Only run exposure queries against domains you own or have written permission to test, and treat results as leads to fix.

Does DorkForge store my queries?

No. DorkForge is a static site with no backend. History, saved queries and your theme live only in your browser's local storage, and searches go straight from your browser to the engine you choose.

Which search engines are supported?

Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo. Most operators work across all three, but Google supports the widest set.
